A sensorium (/sɛnˈsɔːrɪəm/) is the apparatus of an organism's perception considered as a whole. It is the center of sensation – where it experiences, perceives, and interprets the environment within which it lives.

SENSORIUM is an immersive and interactive STUDIO.LAB dedicated to creating conceptually strong sensory experiences while blending interactive storytelling, experiential design, and art

STUDIO – production of installations, exhibits, and participatory experiences for art centers, festivals, museums, and like-minded creative partners
LAB – the internal space for experimentation and research of new tools, interaction models, and sensory technologies

“You do not see with your eyes, but with your whole being.”
(Paraphrased from the philosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty)

Combination of art and interactive technology feels like a new chapter of art,
the new format of expression.
It requires your presence to be complete.
It acknowledges you and brings attention back to you.
It's fascinating,
and it's fascinating to be able to enter virtual realities
to see different perceptions of the world around us.

Founded by Ukrainian-born media artist Lawrence Kudria, SENSORIUM has been created with the idea of making experiences that are perceived through all our senses - whether with spatial sound and visuals or with touch, movement, and biofeedback. SENSORIUM explores perception, connection, and inner states, and invites audiences into shared vulnerability.

It is split into 2 pillars:
STUDIO – production of interactive installations, multi-sensory environments, and participatory XR (VR, AR, MR) experiences for art centers, museums, festivals, urban contexts, and like-minded creative partners
and LAB – an internal R&D engine for experimenting with tools, technologies, and interaction models to expand the language of perception.

With SENSORIUM, Lawrence is dedicated to creating conceptually strong sensory experiences while blending interactive storytelling, experiential design, and art.
